A perfect blend of appearance, user interface, and technology, the nail watch passes most standards of modern design with flying colors thanks to its functional and minimalist appeal. The watch looks stylish and chic and has a touch of Geeky style as well. The downside of this watch is that it is disposable. So with so many stylish watched being available now, it will be hard for it to survive in the market. Though it is quite innovative with a minimalist design, but it won't last long on your finger.

Now,Google is taking a greater role in helping users search within particular sites.The company has introduced a search-within-search feature that lets users stay on Google to find pages on popular sites like those of Wikipedia.NewYork times etc.The search box appears when some one enters the name of certain web addresses or company names-say "best buy"-rather than entering a request like 'cellphones'.
The results of search are almostall individual company..pages.
The problem is that when someone enters a term into that secondary search box,Google will display ads for competing sites,thereby profiting from ads it sells against the brand.Though the feature helps users save step,there are trade-offs for web publishers and retailers.While the service could help increase traffic.

NASA Unveils Cosmic Images Book in Braille for Blind Readers

At a ceremony today at the National Federation of the Blind, NASA unveiled a new book that brings majestic images taken by its Great Observatories to the fingertips of the blind. "Touch the Invisible Sky" is a 60-page book with color images of nebulae, stars, galaxies and some of the telescopes that captured the original pictures. Braille and large-print descriptions accompany each of the book's 28 photographs, making the book's design accessible to readers of all visual abilities.The book contains spectacular images from the Hubble Space Telescope, Chandra X-ray Observatory, Spitzer Space Telescope and powerful ground-based telescopes. The celestial objects are presented as they appear through visible-light telescopes and different spectral regions invisible to the naked eye, from radio to infrared, visible, ultraviolet and X-ray light.

First,Mahendra Singh Dhoni and now his teammate Yuvraj Singh. Budding actress Deepika Padukone is quite fed up and says reports about her engagement with Yuvraj Singh are not true at all. 'Please...this is the strangest thing I have heard, so far,' said a visibly disturbed Deepika. The actress was Thursday evening declared the new brand ambassador of Swiss watch brand Tissot. Asked how endorsements work for actors, she said: 'It works both ways. I mean celebrities connect the brand to the audience and the label connects them to the viewers, making them more popular.' Deepika, who is the daughter of former world badminton champion Prakash Padukone, said sports works to de-stress her: 'I am very closely associated with sports. I have played games like badminton, basketball, tennis, throwball and baseball.' 'My favourite sport is swimming however, any type of sport de-stresses me. It takes my mind off work and makes me feel relaxed,' Padukone told IANS. The newcomer struck fame with her debut film 'Om Shanti Om' opposite Shah Rukh Khan. However, she denies being bogged down by any kind of pressure of meeting expectations while picking up projects or in her upcoming movies. 'No there is no such pressure on me! Bollywood: 2 Promising New-comers

With some of the senior (not age-wise) heroines, moving on to more mature roles, there is a genuine paucity of leading ladies in Bollywood. Thankfully, the year has seen two promising newcomers, with good histrionic capabilities and stunning screen presence. Obviously Iam referring to Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

While the 'Sakina' of SAAWARIYA has bagged a plush role opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Rakeysh Mehra's DILLI 6, her compatriot, 'Shanti' of OM SHANTI OM, has three good projects lined up. And the lady confirms all three.

The first project that she will shoot for (from next month) is Nikhil Advani's CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA, opposite Akhshay Kumar. After that it will be the Yash Raj project with Ranbir Kapoor. The third one (in the pipeline) is with the 'Chotey Nawab', Saif Ali Khan.

Orkut introduces new privacy features!

hiii Friends
Hopes that by this time most of you around here must be the member of
ORKUT social networking site..here most annoying thing everyone must have noticed is that earlier they did not provide privacy to your scrapbook,albums,videos etc..

Finally orkut has introduced a new set of privacy features that were much needed by the community especially in the wake of the latest crimes that we hear coming out of orkut! So, finally orkut has taken the initiative and has introduced privacy for scrapbook access, album(i.e Images) access as well as Video access. You can do this by going to the settings link in the left corner of your screen and then going to the “Privacy Tab”.

Another good thing that orkut has introduced is the Ask questions feature where in your friends can answer to questions that you have asked. Another thing that is noteworthy is the updates feature, where in you know the latest updates about your friends! This is very effective especially when your friends list goes into hundreds;)

I personally feel that orkut is standing up to the stiff competition from MySpace and Facebook as well as linkedIn when it comes to professional networking and the only thing that orkut should actively work upon is the OpenSocial API which is still in Beta and takes limited developers. I hope they open it for public as soon as possible.

While Priyanka Chopra, Suniel Shetty and Sonam Kapoor plan to make it a family affair, Bipasha Basu, Malaika Arora will entertain their fans with performances and others like Tusshar Kapoor are going to welcome the New Year with work.

Priyanka Chopra: I'm shooting till the Dec 30. Then I have one day to spend with my family. After the New Year, I am off to Bangkok to shoot a commercial for a beauty soap. My wish? That my father remains well and my films do well!
Suniel Shetty: I'm off to spend the year-end with my family in our Khandala home, and that includes my parents, of course. I'd want my family to be happy and complete in 2008. On the professional front, I want my production company Popcorn Entertainment to march ahead.

Bipasha Basu: I'm working on New Year's Eve. I'll be performing at the Marriott. Then I'm heading to Kenya for a week's holiday. I hope in 2008 I've loads of fun and I do great work. I'd like more travel for myself and less violence for the world.

Tusshar Kapoor: I can't travel out of Mumbai for the New Year because I'm shooting. So it'd be just close friends home on the Dec 31. My only wish for 2008 is to see my films get a smooth release.

Sonam Kapoor: I'm actually working this New Year in Jaipur. But my parents, sister and my best friend are coming to visit me.

Arshad Warsi: I'm off to the mountains in Uttaranchal with my family. I wish the world would take global warming seriously in 2008.

R. Madhavan: I'm off on a cruise with my wife and son in Singapore. My wish? I want to spend lots and lots of time with my family in Chennai in 2008. In 2007, I was home for all of 28 days.
Raveena Tandon: I'll be with my husband, my two children and friends at a friend's house in Alibaug. I want to get back to some work in 2008.
